Benefis Health System is redeveloping a site on the former Capital Hill Mall location into a new specialty clinic in Helena. The new building will benefit patients for its central location, the ease of access and the views their patients will have. This new space is located on 3 acres of the 13 acre former mall site that was demolished in 2019.The three-story clinic, expected to open in 2023 will offer primary and specialty care. Facilities will include space for cancer care, cardiology, gastroenterology and a four-room outpatient surgical center. The spaces are optimized to provide the best care and experience for patients. Each floor has a dedicated air handling unit, with a hydronic heating system fed from a gas fired high efficiency boiler plant. Medical gas systems were designed with medical air, vacuum, oxygen and other medical gases. Electrical systems were designed for emergency backup power in the event of a utility power outage. Design services included Plumbing Systems, HVAC Systems, Medical Gas Systems, Temperature Control Systems ,Fire Sprinkler Systems, Electrical Lighting Systems, Electrical Power Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Site Lighting Systems, and Nurse Call Systems.
