A.C.E. was selected to be the MEP engineer for the new Campbell County High School located in Gillette, Wyoming. The multi-phase project consists of constructing a new stadium including an artificial turf field and track, stadium sports lighting, bleachers, press box, ticket booths and pavilion building housing concessions, restrooms and locker rooms on the existing Campbell County High School site. Once the new stadium is constructed, the existing stadium will be demolished and a new two (2) story 215,000 sqft high school will be constructed.
The new high school will include a central kitchen, auditorium, main gym, auxiliary gym, locker rooms, classrooms and administrative spaces. The central kitchen will serve the new school plus approximately 22 other facilities in the District. Upon completion of the new school, the existing building will be demolished and replaced with new parking facilities. An existing 26,000 sqft vocational building will be renovated and will include agriculture, automotive, wood and welding shops and classrooms. The project is currently in the schematic design phase with construction documents anticipated to be completed in 2026. Modern, high efficiency, commercial grade mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems will be evaluated through life cycle cost analysis during the design process. This will ensure the most suitable systems are selected considering initial investment costs, annual and periodic maintenance costs and annual operating costs and over a 50 year life cycle.
