Helena Food Share

Project Overview

The Community Food Resource Center project will involve the development of a new, single-story, 20,000± square foot facility designed to support Helena Food Share’s growing operations and community mission. Situated on a 58,102 square foot site, the building will integrate multiple functions under one roof, including modern office workspace, a conference room, a classroom kitchen, a volunteer space, a retail food pantry, food storage and warehousing, and a commercial production kitchen.

The site will feature a dedicated loading dock, ample parking to accommodate approximately 25 employees, and thoughtfully designed outdoor garden space to enhance the Center’s community-focused programs. The facility’s layout and amenities are tailored to streamline operations, foster collaboration, and create an inviting environment for both staff and community members.

By bringing essential food resources, education, and volunteer opportunities together in one dynamic space, the Community Food Resource Center will strengthen local food access, inspire healthy living, and serve as a cornerstone for community connection and support.
