The new Jefferson High School addition creates a modern learning environment while provided both infrastructure and safety/security updates to the building. The 2-story addition features modern science classrooms with dedicated lab spaces, art classrooms with new kilns, new band room with individual practice rooms and a new life skills classroom. A separate addition expanded the schools existing career and technical education classrooms and features a new dust collection system for the woodworking shop, a new welding exhaust system in the metal working area, and modern CAD/technology rooms. The building also got a full electrical service upgrade, new safety and security systems including a clock/bell/announcement system throughout the entire building, new access controls and new video monitoring systems. The design also renovated the existing band space into a new drama classroom which featured a black box theater, ventilation and heating upgrades to the locker rooms and the original gym and full controls system upgrade for the building.
ACE design services included HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Lighting and Power Systems Design, Site Lighting, Safety & Security, Low Voltage Design, Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler permit drawings.
