The new elementary school is designed to accommodate students in grades three through five, featuring a total of 21 regular classrooms—seven per grade level. In addition to these core learning spaces, the facility will include dedicated special education rooms to support a diverse range of student needs. This layout not only meets current enrollment demands but also allows for future growth within the district.
Currently, fifth-grade students attend Laurel Middle School; however, with the completion of the new building, they will return to the elementary school setting. The new school is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025, marking a significant step forward in enhancing the educational environment and experience for the community’s upper elementary students.
