Touro College and University System, one of the nation’s leading non-profit institutions of higher and professional education, has received pre-accreditation status to recruit students and begin operations for a college of osteopathic medicine in Great Falls, Montana. The new state of the art school will help address the state’s physician shortage and increase access to healthcare. 125 students are anticipated to enroll in the first class, which is scheduled to start in July 2023. The facility includes student spaces with room for 200 students, a student lounge, library, study spaces, gym, student services offices and faculty research labs. Laboratory plumbing design features included concealed pipe drop enclosures, island benches with fixed laboratory casework and waste piping designed to prevent accidental leakage of liquid spills. Mobile lab benches were pre-wired and plumbed to overhead utilities. Design services include, Plumbing, HVAC, Temperature Control Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems, Electrical Lighting and Power Systems, Fire Alarm and Site Lighting Systems.
