Wyoming Game & Fish New Building

Project Overview

The new facility is designed to enhance public service and operational efficiency. It supports critical functions such as wildlife disease management (e.g., chronic wasting disease), AIS prevention, and public education. The expanded and modernized spaces improve customer service, increase storage capacity for field equipment, and provide safer, more functional work environments for staff. This project involves the construction of a new regional office facility for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department in Cody, Wyoming. The development includes three primary structures:

Main Office Building: A two-story, 19,000-square-foot facility housing 32 offices, administrative areas, a public lobby, three conference rooms, and a large, ADA-compliant meeting room. It also includes specialized areas such as a wildlife check-in station, an aquatic invasive species (AIS) decontamination area, and a dedicated space for handling anesthetized large carnivores.

Attached Shop Building: A two-story, 14,500-square-foot structure featuring four shop bays, mezzanine storage, and temperature-controlled freezer and cooler spaces. This area supports field operations and equipment maintenance.

Detached Cold Storage Building: A single-story, 5,000-square-foot facility designed for additional equipment and material storage.

Site Development includes full utility installation, grading, asphalt driveways and parking areas (with ample space for trailers and boats), concrete sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation systems, and other site amenities.
